Remembering the appointed time of  Yom Kippur

"At morning light he left and went to a desolate place. The crowd of people sought after him and came up to him, and they urged him not to depart from them. He said to them, "Look, I have to bring the other towns the good news of the kingdom of God; for this is why I was sent." Luke 5: 42,43  The Delitzsch Hebrew Gospels

Shalom,

I am releasing this word of God from our Savior Yeshua Jesus.

The True Vine

I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. He will remove every branch in me that does not produce fruit, but whatever produces fruit he will purify, to make its fruit abundant. You are already purified through my word that I have spoken to you. Stay in me and I in  you. Just as the branch does not produce fruit on its own if it does not stay on the vine, it is the same for you if you do not stay in me. I am the vine and you are branches. One who stays in me and I in him will produce fruit in abundance. For without me, you will not be able to do anything. One who does not remain in me will be cast outside like a branch and wither. People will gather them and cast them into the midst of the fire, and it will be consumed. If you stay in me and my words are in you, then you my ask according to whatever you desire and it will be done for you. With this my Father is honored, when you produce fruit in abundance, and you will become disciples to me. Just as my Father has loved me, I have loved you as well. As for you, stay in my love. If you keep my mitzvoth that you will stay in my love, just as I have kept the mitzvot of my Father and have stayed in his love. I have spoken these things so that my joy will dwell with you and your joy will be complete. This is my mitzvah: that you love one another as I have loved you. There is no love greater than the love of one who gives his life on behalf of his companions. As for you if you do what I command you, you are my companions. I will no longer call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master will do. But I said you are my companions because I have made known to you all that I have heard from my Father. You did not choose me; rather, it is I who chose you. I have charged you to go and produce fruit, and your fruit will endure. All that you ask from my Father in my name he will give to you. I command you these things so that you will love one another. Yochanan [John]: 1- 17  The Delitzsch Hebrew Gospels

Love the Lord our God with all your heart, all your soul and all your might. Love one another as yourself. Obey God the Father.

Yeshua Jesus' teachings and the foreshadowing of Him are found throughout the Old Testament readings of the Torah (first five books). (I encourage you this Head of the Year (Rosh Hashanah) to begin the reading cycle of Torah (instruction/law/teaching). Yeshua did not "toss out" the Torah- the law,  but upheld it. He who was sinless became sin for us. The Lamb of God became the world's sacrificial lamb once and for all at the cross. There is life in the blood...

Yeshua Jesus is the light of the world! He  and God, the Father loves us.
