Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ

Shalom,

I want to share with you my true thoughts about discipleship. I really thought I knew what it meant. I now know I had not a clue. Being a disciple of Yeshua is such an overwhelming and humbling walk that never ends. I walk the path and stop to study, fall on my face and cry, readjust my thoughts, fall in love again, apply the Word of God to go into all the world.

I usually don't write about anything on this blog, only giving scriptures. I don't want to give out junk to God's people, just the word. I can't really express the love I have for Yeshua the Messiah and Abba Father, because the intensity of their love for me leaves me speechless. To love Yeshua is to obey him, his teachings and make other disciples.

I had a dream not long ago about a man and what seemed to be his son. I stumbled upon them as I was walking through the forest. They were a few feet away from me and I couldn't see their faces. I didn't care that I couldn't see their faces because I was too engrossed in how they were interacting with one another. They were close, very close. The young man seemed to hang on to every word the dad was saying. They laughed on occasion as the dad seemed to be giving his son life instructions. Suddenly the conversation turned into what seemed like a goodbye. The dad was sending the son away! The son seemed sad and the dad seemed strong about the son needing to leave him and go and do what was expected of him. They had been standing on a slight hill all this and then I saw what looked a cemented waterway or open drain that led down the steep hill to level ground. The son got into the rushing waters and he descended...

I wanted that love they shared! I could feel it rolling over me, shaking my very being with purity, joy and reverence. The father loved the son, but sent him away. The son obeyed without even looking back.

"For God loved the world with an abundant love,
to the extent that he gave his only son so that all
who believe in him will not perish, but will rather
have eternal life" Yochanan  John  3: 16

Fall in love again with the Creator and His Son the Messiah. Read the Word of God after you pray and ask God to show you truth, discover the Jewish roots of the bible, pray for the peace of Israel and show your love for the land and it's people.

"All is handed over to me by my Father. There is none who knows who the Son
is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son and whomever
the Son desires to reveal him." (Lukas 10:22)
